myうちそと (my uchi-soto)

myうちそと (my uchi-soto) is a set of resources for sharing the gospel with Japanese people. It was written by Yuko Brash, the lead author, together with Richard Brash and a team of missionaries and Japanese colleagues, and it is published by CBI Press.
Uchi and soto are the Japanese words for "inside" and "outside", a way of seeing the world that every Japanese person already understands and feels. Instead of starting with creation, sin, or Jesus himself, the lessons begin with this familiar framework and lead people into the Bible's story from there. They were developed in Japanese, by Japanese people, for Japanese people.
