2026 Toyama Marathon

1 November 2026

In 2026 I ran the Toyama Marathon, and it was my first visit to the Hokuriku area of Japan. Again, the family came and we made a weekend of it. And it was lots of fun going to Toyama on the Hida Express!

The scenery was amazing, with snow-capped mountains in the distance.

Unfortunately, I hurt my knee coming down the slip road from the Shinminato Bridge, and the second half was much slower than the first.
